Thanks to everyone that made it to our acoustic show at the weekend. Special thanks to Harriet and her cello for making the show all ‘Eleanor Rigby’. We are pleased to announce our next show will be on a beach in Manchester at Castlefield Basin as we play for a worthy cause on 060513, namely Future Perfect Festival. The event is a day to help support those lost to cancer or currently in treatment, more details about the event here.
On 310512 we play a small intimate show for Red Balloon at The Castle in Manchester. We’re performing a semi-acoustic set including one or two new songs that are not part of our usual electric show. Tickets are only £6 and are available here. We hope you can make it down to see us at The Castle which is on Oldham Street in the Northern Quarter.
110512 Folks play Antwerp Mansion, Rushholme, Manchester. Will Not Be Televised proudly present The Franco and the Dreadnought Vinyl Drop, with very special guests, Folks, Dirty North, The Jesse Rose Trip & Revolver DJ’s. Tickets are £5 advance from Gaffs, Fallowfield. The show starts at 8pm.
On Saturday 050512, we play the Live At Leeds Festival which features Marina and the Diamonds, Ladyhawke, The Subways, Jamie N Commons, Niki and the Dove and Ren Harvieu. We will be onstage at The Faversham at 1800 and you can buy a day pass for the whole event, across ten venues in the city here. 170512, we support The Mystery Jets at The Arts Academy in Liverpool as part of Liverpool’s Sound City Festival. The festival has Michael Kiwanuka, Death in Vegas, Professor Green and Willy Mason and our friend, Miles Kane. You can buy tickets for the festival here. 0306112, we play Manchester’s street festival, Eurocultured, on the Student Castle Stage at 2030. Following on from Green Man Festival in August, our own headline shows in September and our support shows in October with Miles Kane we are very pleased to announce that we are playing our home city of Manchester at the Deaf Institute on November 22nd.
